The Head Stage 2 ball is softer, larger and 50% slower than standard tennis balls, giving the child more time to react and making it much easier to hit the ball. Designed for play on a small ITF court (18 m x 5,6-2,83 m). Additionally, the orange-yellow colour makes it easier to spot. ITF approved, the ball is part of the Head Tennis Instruction Program (STAGE).

Cooperating with the ITF (International Tennis Federation) as part of the "Tennis...Play and Stay" campaign, Head has developed a new T.I.P. (Tennis Instruction Program) - an innovative system supporting tennis learning. According to the T.I.P. assumptions, a beginner player should be able to serve, hit confidently and score points during their very first lesson, which becomes a positive and encouraging introduction to further learning. The T.I.P. program supports this concept by providing rackets and balls suitable for each level of tennis learning.
