The History of the Brand
Reebok is an international clothing and footwear brand founded in England in 1895 by brothers Joseph and Jeffery Foster. Initially, the company produced shoes for runners and rugby players. In 1958, Reebok introduced the "Freestyle" running shoes - the first shoes specifically designed for women's fitness.
The Development of the Company
In 1982, Reebok made its debut in the American market and quickly became popular among athletes and physical activity enthusiasts. In the 1990s, Reebok expanded its offerings by introducing sportswear and accessories to the market. Since then, the brand has been considered one of the leading sportswear and footwear brands in the world.
Reebok in Tennis
The Reebok brand is linked to tennis through its partnership with many well-known tennis players and the sponsorship of various tennis tournaments. Reebok collaborated with tennis players such as Monica Seles, Boris Becker, and Michael Chang, who wore the brand's shoes and clothing during their matches.
Reebok was also a sponsor of many tennis tournaments, including the WTA Tour Championships. Currently, Reebok is no longer actively involved in tennis as it used to be, but the brand still offers a line of tennis products, including shoes and clothing.
