The fourth generation of Asics' fastest tennis shoe model brings cosmetic refinements aimed at supporting dynamic movements on the court, introduced thanks to suggestions from the best Swiss tennis player, Belinda Bencic. The shoe's lightweight and flexible construction provides excellent acceleration in the transition from a full stop to a sprint, which allows the player to increase the range of court covered. The redesigned mesh upper with a denser weave increases breathability, while reinforcements in strategic places and the PU loop in the upper part of the inner side improve durability while keeping the weight low. The midsole made of the modernised, bio-based material, energetic FLYTEFOAM foam guarantees top-class cushioning and phenomenal rebound into the next quick step. The SPEEDTRUSS system has also been used, increasing stability during lateral and diagonal movements. The PRECISION-SOLE™ outsole with ASICSGRIP™ rubber in the toe area provides excellent grip allowing for quick footwork. The shoes feature a herringbone tread designed for playing on clay courts.
