The next update to the Vapor Lite model delivers even greater lightness and a higher level of wearing comfort. The flexible mesh upper and a tongue partly made of a mesh panel improve ventilation and in-use comfort. The toe and heel are surrounded by rubber reinforcements for improved durability. Removing rubber from areas less exposed to wear and using a lighter rubber compound in the outsole has reduced weight to a minimum, allowing quicker movement around the court. Inside the shoe, a built-in sock-like construction perfectly wraps the foot, providing additional support and stability. A soft collar with a U-shaped neck makes the shoe easier to put on and enhances wearing comfort. The midsole is made of highly cushioning foam. The model is designed for play on all surfaces.
