The twelfth update of the iconic Air Zoom Vapor footwear line was developed based on feedback from both professional and amateur players, and took into account wear data using Holger Rune's shoes as a reference. The model delivers even greater lightness and dynamic movement while maintaining high comfort and the renowned, excellent stability. The refined upper made of high-density mesh provides very good breathability, while cast polyurethane reinforcements in key zones protect the areas most prone to abrasion on the inner side and around the toes without increasing the shoe's weight. A sturdy plate surrounding the midfoot area supports the foot exceptionally well, ensuring confidence during sudden slides, turns and direction changes. The internal half-bootie sleeve improves the fit, additionally stabilising the foot laterally. The use of the acclaimed ZOOM AIR gas cushion under the heel provides the highest level of cushioning with rebound dynamics and springiness into the next step. The special outsole tread called CLAYBREAKER, designed with reference to pressure mapping and analysis of the areas where the most clay accumulates, delivers excellent grip on clay courts and reduces clogging of debris.
