The third iteration of the iconic Vapor Pro model brings improvements and innovations introduced by Nike engineers based on suggestions from both professional and amateur tennis players. The much-appreciated exceptional lightness of the shoes has been retained, enabling quick movement on the court, while at the same time enhancing the level of foot support during rapid changes of direction and comfort during all-day wear. The upper construction made of durable mesh guarantees excellent breathability. The flexible rubber rand around the toe box and the most abrasion-prone lateral, inner area increases durability. Removing rubber from zones less exposed to wear keeps the shoe weight to a minimum. The tongue with a structure partially integrated into the inner sleeve and a full strap in the midfoot area, which allows the laces to be pulled tighter, provide an improved fit and hold the foot even more stably during sudden changes of direction. The ZOOM AIR air cushion placed in the midsole offers very good cushioning with excellent step responsiveness. Additionally, reducing the size of the cushion has improved the flexibility and grip of the front of the shoe, facilitating natural bending during push-off and maximising rebound dynamics. Due to the tread profile, the outsole of universal application does not limit the possibility of slides on hard surfaces.
