It also brings improved cushioning and energy return. The shoes feature an upper made of durable "sandwich" mesh, which provides good breathability and high comfort during wear. Reinforcements in the most vulnerable areas around the toes and heel increase resistance to wear. The inner part of the upper, Endofit, with a partially integrated tongue construction, translates into an ideal level of fit (and a relatively narrow cut), firmly stabilising and supporting the foot during aggressive movements or turns. The built-in TPU Speed Plate further supports movement dynamics and acceleration. The R-dst+ midsole with a compressed EVA insert provides excellent cushioning under the heel and a more springy rebound under the midfoot for faster reactions. The outsole made of durable Duralast rubber features a herringbone tread designed for play on clay courts.
