The latest update to the Vapor Lite model delivers even greater lightness and improved wearing comfort. The flexible mesh upper, together with a tongue partly made from a mesh panel, enhances ventilation and overall comfort. The toe and heel areas are wrapped with rubber reinforcements for better durability. By removing rubber from zones less exposed to wear and using a lighter rubber compound in the outsole, weight has been reduced to a minimum, allowing quicker movement around the court. Inside the shoe, an integrated sock-like construction wraps the foot perfectly, providing additional support and stability. The soft collar with a U-shaped throat makes it easier to put the shoe on and increases wearing comfort. The midsole is made of highly cushioned foam. The specially designed outsole tread, developed using pressure mapping and analysis of areas where the most clay accumulates, delivers excellent traction on clay courts and reduces sticking of debris.
