The third iteration of the iconic Vapor Pro model brings improvements and innovations introduced by Nike engineers based on feedback from both professional and amateur tennis players. The highly prized exceptional lightness of the shoe, which allows for quick movement around the court, has been retained, while simultaneously improving the level of foot support during rapid turns and comfort during all-day wear. The upper construction of durable mesh guarantees excellent breathability. A flexible rubber wrap around the toe and the inner lateral area most exposed to abrasion increases durability. Removing rubber from areas less prone to wear reduces the shoe's weight to a minimum. A tongue with a partially integrated structure with the inner sock, as well as a full strap in the midfoot area that allows for tighter lacing, provide an improved fit and hold the foot even more securely during sudden changes of direction. The ZOOM AIR gas cushion placed in the midsole offers very good cushioning with excellent step responsiveness. Additionally, reducing the size of the cushion has improved the flexibility and traction of the forefoot, facilitating natural bending during push-off and maximising rebound dynamics. The special outsole tread CLAYBREAKER designed based on pressure maps and analysis of the areas where the most clay dust accumulates, provides excellent traction on clay courts and reduces za przywieranie osadu.
