Take your game to the next level with the Head Leather Tour 1P – the ultimate base grip that offers unprecedented control and a tactile sensation on every shot. This base wrap is meticulously designed to accentuate the handle's edges perfectly, providing an exceptional grip that stands the test of time. Boasting unrivaled build quality, this is more than an accessory – it's an investment in your performance.
Unlike some tennis racket grips that are perforated, the Head Leather Tour 1P maintains a solid design. While this lack of perforation might seem unconventional, it proves instrumental in providing a grip that outperforms rivals. The stickiness is dry, perfect for those players that prefer a firmer hold without any slip.
In terms of visuals, the base grip sports a classic brown color that never fails to impress. This timeless shade adds charm to your gear and most importantly, it stands out on the court – a must-have for tennis players with a sense of style.

The smallest details often play very important role in tennis. One of these details is right and clean grip. We can distinguish replacement grips (basic grips) and overgrips. Replacement grips are these one that are on each racket when you buy it. They are made of plastic or skin and have thickness around 2 mm. Their main function are: absorption, comfort, tackiness. Overgrips are thinner, with thickness around 0,4-0,7 mm. They are put on basic grips depending on player’s preferences and the grip stickiness. Wet overgrips are used for good, confident handle while dry grips help for sweating hands. They slightly thicken racket’s grip, depending on wrapping method and strenght. Overgrips should be replaced when they lose their properties or become visible dirty.
