The smallest details often play very important role in tennis. One of these details is right and clean grip. We can distinguish replacement grips (basic grips) and overgrips. Replacement grips are these one that are on each racket when you buy it. They are made of plastic or skin and have thickness around 2 mm. Their main function are: absorption, comfort, tackiness. Overgrips are thinner, with thickness around 0,4-0,7 mm. They are put on basic grips depending on player’s preferences and the grip stickiness. Wet overgrips are used for good, confident handle while dry grips help for sweating hands. They slightly thicken racket’s grip, depending on wrapping method and strenght. Overgrips should be replaced when they lose their properties or become visible dirty.
