Every human foot has a unique structure and leaves an inimitable imprint, for example on wet sand. There are many differences. There are high-arched feet and flat feet; we distinguish between the right and left foot, and feet differ in width and volume ("girth"). These factors are directly related to body posture and perceived comfort and have a direct impact on them. Our feet carry the same weight of the whole body day after day and become tired, as a result of which they lose stability and become flattened. As a consequence, the knee, hip joints and spine are overloaded, which may lead to the development or deepening of postural defects. Stabilising the foot with an insole helps to support the foot from the side and strengthens the foot so as to reduce the loss of muscle strength and ensure flexibility throughout the activity. This makes it possible to significantly reduce the risks caused by foot instability (twisted ankle, muscle fatigue, pain, abrasions).
