Australian is an Italian clothing company that was founded in 1956. The origins of the brand, date back to 1946, when Leardo Gabrielli founded L'Alpina Maglierie Sportive. The company quickly gained a considerable reputation as it revolutionized the knitwear market with new fabrics and yarns. Under the Gabriella brand, creation of haute couture products, the luxury tailoring department, which produced custom-made clothing for a specific customer.

The Australian brand was aimed at people from tennis world, because it is a sport that perfectly reflects the characteristics of their products, taking into quality and functionality. Australian is not limited to this type of clothing, however, as shown by the activity in recent years. In 2016, the Red Court line was created, which dealt with casual products, while by 2022 it was already the Hard Court line and a sports-underground chic.

The brand ambassador is tennis player Dusan Lajović, who has been in the top 100 ATP ranking for years. In his career, tennis player from Serbia achieve one singles victory in the ATP Tour competition and two victories in doubles. Since 2012, he has represented his country in the Davis Cup and his highest position in the ATP ranking so far is 23rd place.
