The twelfth update of the iconic Air Zoom Vapor footwear line was carried out based on feedback from both professional and amateur players, and incorporates wear data analysed using Holger Rune's shoes as a reference. The model delivers even greater lightness and dynamic movement while maintaining high comfort and the previously excellent stability. The refined upper made from high-density mesh provides very good breathability, and reinforcements made of cast polyurethane in key zones protect the most abrasion-prone points on the inside and around the toes without adding weight. A solid plate wrapping the midfoot area supports the foot superbly, ensuring confidence during sudden slides, turns, and direction changes. An inner sleeve reaching halfway up the upper improves the fit and additionally stabilises the foot laterally. The use of the renowned ZOOM AIR gas cushion under the heel provides the highest level of cushioning with dynamic rebound and responsiveness into the next step. Thanks to its tread profile, the versatile outsole does not limit sliding on hard surfaces, and its split construction further reduces the shoe's weight.
