The twelfth update to the iconic Air Zoom Vapor footwear line was carried out based on feedback from both professional and amateur players, and taking into account wear data using Holger Rune as a reference. The model delivers even greater lightness and dynamic movement while maintaining high comfort and the excellent stability it has been known for. The improved upper made of high-density mesh provides very good breathability, and reinforcements made of cast polyurethane in key zones protect the points most exposed to abrasion on the inner side and around the toes without increasing the weight of the shoes. A solid plate surrounding the midfoot area provides excellent support for the foot, ensuring confidence during sudden slides, turns and changes of direction. The internal half-bootie sock improves the level of fit, additionally stabilising the foot laterally. The use of the acclaimed ZOOM AIR gas cushion under the heel provides the highest level of cushioning with rebound dynamics and responsiveness into the next step. Due to the tread profile, the outsole designed for universal use does not limit the ability to slide on hard surfaces, and its split construction allows for further weight reduction of the shoes.
