The twelfth update of the iconic Air Zoom Vapor footwear line was developed based on feedback from both professional and amateur players, taking into account shoe wear data using Holger Rune as an example. The model delivers even greater lightness and dynamic movement while maintaining high comfort and the excellent stability it has been known for. The improved high-density mesh upper provides very good breathability, while reinforcements made of cast polyurethane in key zones protect the most abrasion-prone points on the inner side and around the toes without increasing the shoe's weight. A solid plate surrounding the midfoot area supports the foot excellently, ensuring confidence during sudden slides, turns and direction changes. The internal half-bootie construction improves the level of fit, additionally stabilising the foot laterally. The use of the renowned Zoom Air gas cushion under the heel provides the highest level of cushioning with rebound dynamics and responsiveness for the next step. The special outsole tread pattern CLAYBREAKER designed with consideration of pressure maps and analysis of areas where the most clay accumulates provides excellent grip on clay courts and limits the adhesion of debris.
