The twelfth update to the iconic Air Zoom Vapor footwear line was carried out based on feedback from both professional and amateur players, taking into account shoe wear data using Holger Rune as a case study. The model delivers even greater lightness and dynamic movement while maintaining high comfort and the excellent stability it has offered so far. The improved upper made from high-density mesh provides very good breathability, while reinforcements made from cast polyurethane in key zones protect the points most exposed to abrasion on the inside and around the toes without increasing the shoe's weight. A solid plate surrounding the midfoot area provides excellent foot support, ensuring confidence during sudden slides, turns, and direction changes. An internal half-bootie sleeve improves the level of fit, additionally stabilising the foot laterally. The use of the renowned Zoom Air gas cushion under the heel delivers the highest level of cushioning with bounce-back dynamics and responsiveness into the next step. Due to the tread profile, the outsole with universal application does not limit the ability to slide on hard surfaces, and its split construction further helps reduce the shoe's weight.
