The twelfth update of the iconic Air Zoom Vapor footwear line has been developed based on feedback from both professional and amateur players, as well as data on shoe wear gathered using Holger Rune as a reference. The model delivers even greater lightness and dynamic movement while maintaining high comfort and the excellent stability it has always offered. The improved upper made of high-density mesh provides very good breathability, and the cast polyurethane reinforcements in key zones protect the areas most exposed to abrasion on the inner side and around the toes without adding weight. The sturdy plate surrounding the midfoot area supports the foot exceptionally well, ensuring confidence during sudden slides, turns, and direction changes. The internal half-bootie sock improves the fit and additionally stabilises the foot laterally. The use of the renowned Zoom Air gas cushion under the heel delivers the highest level of cushioning with rebound dynamics and responsiveness into the next step. Due to the tread profile, the outsole designed for universal use does not limit sliding ability on hard surfaces, while its segmented construction further reduces the shoe's weight.
