The twelfth update of the iconic Air Zoom Vapor footwear series was carried out based on feedback from both professional and amateur players, and taking into account wear data using Holger Rune as an example. The refined upper made of high-density mesh provides very good breathability, and reinforcements made of cast polyurethane in key zones protect the most abrasion-prone points on the inner side and around the toes without increasing the shoe's weight. A solid plate surrounding the midfoot area superbly supports the foot, ensuring confidence during sudden slides, turns and direction changes. The internal sock extending to half the height of the upper improves the level of fit, additionally stabilising the foot laterally. The use of the renowned ZOOM AIR gas cushion under the heel provides the highest level of cushioning with rebound dynamics and responsiveness into the next step. Due to the tread profile, the outsole with universal application does not limit sliding possibilities on hard surfaces, and its split construction allows for further reduction of the shoe's weight.
