The third edition of the iconic Vapor Pro brings improvements and innovations introduced by Nike engineers based on suggestions from both professional and amateur tennis players. The highly valued exceptional lightness of the shoes has been retained, allowing for quick movement around the court, while enhancing the level of foot support during rapid turns and comfort during all-day wear. The upper construction made from durable mesh guarantees excellent breathability. The flexible rubber overlay around the toe box and the most abrasion-prone lateral, inner area increases durability. The removal of rubber from zones less prone to wear keeps the shoe weight to a minimum. The tongue with a structure partially integrated with the inner sleeve and the full strap in the midfoot area, which allows for tighter lacing, provide an improved fit and hold the foot even more stably during sudden changes of direction. The ZOOM AIR gas cushion located in the midsole offers very good cushioning with excellent step responsiveness. Additionally, reducing the size of the cushion improved the flexibility and traction of the forefoot, facilitating natural bending during push-off and maximising rebound dynamics. Due to the tread profile, the outsole designed for universal use does not limit the ability to slide on hard surfaces.
