The third iteration of the iconic Vapor Pro model brings refinements and innovations introduced by Nike's engineers based on suggestions from both professional and amateur tennis players. The much-appreciated exceptional lightness of the shoes has been retained, allowing quick movement around the court, while simultaneously improving the level of foot support during lightning-fast turns and comfort during all-day wear. The upper construction made from durable mesh guarantees excellent breathability. A flexible rubber overlay around the toe box and the most abrasion-prone lateral, inner area increases durability. Removing rubber from areas less exposed to wear reduces the shoe's weight to a minimum. A tongue with a structure partially integrated with the inner sleeve and a full strap across the midfoot, which enables tighter lacing, provide an improved fit and hold the foot even more stably during sudden changes of direction. The ZOOM AIR gas cushion placed in the midsole offers very good cushioning with excellent step responsiveness. Additionally, reducing the size of the cushion has improved the flexibility and grip of the forefoot, facilitating natural bending during push-off and maximising the dynamics of the rebound. Due to the tread pattern, the universal outsole does not limit the possibility of sliding on hard surfaces.
